Institutions of Higher Education have had to comply with an ever changing world and increased regulation.  They must comply with the Higher Ed Opportunity Act/Clery Act, maintain complex mass/emergency notification systems and prepare an ever-changing population of faculty, staff, students and visitors how to respond to fire alarms, active shooters and severe weather.  They must also monitor incidents internationally when students, faculty and staff are abroad studying or conducting research.
